Relocating or retiring can be exciting—but also a little daunting. Maybe you’ve lived in your community for years but have experienced a major life change such as the loss of a spouse or becoming an empty nester. Possibly you’ve retired in the past few years, or moved locales to be closer to your family, and are now wanting to get out more to things that specifically interest you.
The National Newcomers Association of Canada (NNAC) helps connect women and men with local social clubs across the country, helping you build new friendships, find activities, and feel right at home.

Newcomer clubs have evolved over the years into friendship clubs for more than just those who are newer to their town. We are social clubs only with no business networking, and offer coffee meetups, dinner outings, walking groups, book clubs and hobby groups (and so much more!). Most clubs are women only, but partners may join them for some events, however there are also co-ed clubs and one men’s only club in the west.
With local chapters coast-to-coast, it’s never been easier to connect with a welcoming community of like-minded individuals.
Whether you’ve moved across the country or just in a new phase of your life, there’s a club for you at the NNAC: we’d love to meet you!
