We’re pleased to unveil the very first episode of LIFE FREW MUSIC, a new podcast series hosted by Canadian rock legend Alan Frew and produced in partnership with Zoomer.com and ZoomerRadio.ca.
Frew, the Scottish-born, Canadian-raised multi-platinum singer/songwriter, speaker and author, is best known as the frontman for Glass Tiger, the Canadian band formed in 1981 that became famous for hits like Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone) and Someday.
In his podcast, Frew, 69, plans to sit down with guests he’s met throughout his lengthy career – musicians, entertainers, politicians, athletes and artists – who will reflect back on where their careers have taken them and look forward to where they’re going.
In each of these thoughtful, wide-ranging and candid sessions, his guests will discuss everything from the highs to personal setbacks to career reinvention and everything in between. And the common thread throughout every discussion will be – of course – music.
Season 1 of LIFE FREW MUSIC includes chats with his Glass Tiger bandmates, MuchMusic VJ Erica Ehm, TV presenter Marilyn Denis, former politician Peter MacKay, hockey executive Brian Burke, TV star Lauren Hammersley and country music star Tim Hicks.
In the first episode, Frew is joined by hockey legend Doug Gilmour. Enjoy!
