Bryan Adams turns 65 on Nov. 5, and the Canadian rock legend has more than just candles on a cake to celebrate.

To start, Adams’s 65th birthday also marks the 40th anniversary of his multi-platinum 1984 album Reckless, which features a track list that reads like a greatest hits album: Run to You, Heaven, Somebody, It’s Only Love (a duet with Tina Turner), One Night Love Affair and, of course, Summer of ’69

As well, iHeartRadio used the occasion to announce the arrival of Bryan Adams Radio, described as “a dedicated streaming channel” hosted by the rocker and boasting, “new and exclusive content that includes Adams sharing personal stories, handpicked tracks from his catalogue, and highlights from the music that has shaped his decades-long career.”

And for those who still want to experience Adams in his natural environment – rocking on stage – have no fear: he’s still touring, hitting numerous countries on multiple continents from now through at least May of 2025.

Adams, of course, also has a special connection with Zoomer. Along with serving as the publication’s Editor At Large, he’s photographed an extensive list of luminaries who’ve appeared on the magazine’s covers over the years.

From musical marvels (Tony Bennett, Tina Turner, Bruce Springsteen, Harry Belafonte, Robbie Robertson and Sting to name a few) to literary legends (Margaret Atwood, John Irving) to stars of stage and screen (Christopher Plummer, Dustin Hoffman, Mia Vardalos, Michael J. Fox), Canadian icons (Wayne Gretzky, Gordon Lightfoot) and, yes, even Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, as well as the Dali Lama, Adams’s lens has captured a revered roster of notable subjects.

In celebration of Adams’s birthday, we’ve collected a selection of the cover stories that feature the rocker’s photography, all of which you can view here.
