A stylist since 2008, Brown Thall has quietly amassed a client list that reads like a red-carpet fever dream. Her aesthetic leans toward unabashedly feminine, with a particular devotion to maxi-dresses – she owns around 200 of them by her own estimate. Petite at five-foot-one, she refuses to follow the fashion rules and always dresses in what she loves rather than what’s right for her height.

STYLING CLAIM TO FAME: I’ve had the pleasure of dressing some amazing talents like Meghan Markle before she became a royal, Idris Elba and Avril Lavigne. Each one brought a unique style challenge, which I absolutely loved.
COLOURFUL STORY: For me, confidence is the key to any outfit. If you feel confident, you’ll naturally shine. I’m often the petite one rocking a full-length dress or coat, proving that it’s all about how you carry yourself. I love feeling polished and put together, from head to toe. Monochromatic looks are my go-to, even down to my shoes. I adore frilly, feminine socks paired with pointy flats or heels – they add a whimsical touch. And for my mom-on-the-go look, a chic onesie always does the trick.

WHAT TO WEAR, NOW!: Tailoring is everything. Your clothes should fit you perfectly, not the other way around. To make a statement, it’s all about the right fit. While thigh-high boots and miniskirts had their moment, fashion is evolving – it’s time to move on. The belted blazer trend is also on its way out. Now, it’s about embracing a more refined, demure aesthetic. I’m loving ballet flats and pointy-toe shoes at the moment. Heels are getting shorter and skirt slits are climbing higher. It’s all about those long, sleek lines that elongate and flatter.
LOOK GOOD, FEEL GOOD: I’ve always had a passion for playing dress-up and experiencing the transformative power of clothing. I feel like fashion found me, and I just let it sweep me away. There’s something magical about creating looks that make people feel their best.
